john Terry to remain at Chelsea after loan interest from Bournemouth
The 36-year-old center-back will see out the rest of his contract at Stamford Bridge, which expires in the summer.
Sky sources reported on Tuesday that Bournemouth had asked Chelsea if they could take Terry on loan for the rest of the campaign, after losing on-loan Nathan Ake back to the Blues.
Terry has struggled for game-time under Antonio Conte after an early-season injury and the Italian's successful back-three system has spurred Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta into sensational form.
Terry played in the FA Cup third-round thrashing of Peterborough at the weekend alongside the returning Kurt Zouma but the ex-England captain was sent off on 66 minutes.
