Well, I don’t think there is anybody more corrupt in this country like the former President. I believe you are talking about the former President Olusegun Obasanjo. "As the Speaker, I took Obasanjo on several issues of expenditure offences which he committed and could not show remorse. So, I don’t think he has the integrity to call anybody in the NASS corrupt. Sport :Olympics Marta shines for Brazil as fans boo Neymar

Goalless, booed off twice and facing another embarrassing tournament exit on home soil, Neymar and Brazil’s footballers have lost their shine as Marta’s free-scoring Brazilian women dazzle the host nation at Rio 2016. Charged with restoring Brazilian football’s pride two years on from a 7-1 thrashing by Germany at their own World Cup, the Barcelona star and his proteges stooped to new lows with their second consecutive scoreless draw against Iraq on Sunday to a chorus of jeers in Brasilia. Instead Brazil’s treasured first Olympic football gold could come thanks to their women as a nation in need of inspiration has rallied round their sensational start. In contrast to Neymar’s ineffectual and irritable displays, five-time World Player of the Year Marta has lived up to her billing as the golden girl, scoring twice in a 5-1 thrashing of Sweden on Saturday to add to an opening 3-0 win over China. Marta is even becoming a stick to beat the beleaguered men’s team with. ...

After Pacquiao defeated Timothy Bradley on April 9, he announced he was retiring from the sport to devote more time to his political career. He was elected to the Philippine Senate in May. U.S Election: Republicans may vote Hillary Clinton amid Trump stumbles

Image
Internal party turmoil over Donald Trump spilled into public alarm Wednesday after unprecedented self-inflicted mistakes by the Republican nominee, as some conservatives prepared to do the unthinkable: vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton. While “dump Trump” calls have continued since the 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney trashed the billionaire’s candidacy early this year, it is unclear whether the trickle of defections to Clinton’s camp will become a flood after a series of bad stumbles by Trump. A nightmare 48 hours for the embattled Republican flagbearer — he deepened his public feud with the parents of a fallen Muslim American soldier, refused to back House Speaker Paul Ryan’s re-election bid and used crass language while accepting a supporter’s Purple Heart as a gift — has highlighted Republicans’ concerns. Trump allies openly upbraided their candidate Wednesday for his inability to stay on message, demanding more self-discipline by the political neophyte. ...

Sport:Mourinho has a fierce will to win, says Rooney

Image
Wayne Rooney has described Jose Mourinho’s low-key approach to life as Manchester United manager but insists the new Old Trafford chief has a fierce will to win. The United and England captain was talking after he marked his testimonial with a goalless draw against Everton, his team’s final preparation before Sunday’s Community Shield meeting with champions Leicester. It was also the first Old Trafford game in which Mourinho, United’s fourth manager in five turbulent seasons, has taken charge of the club. Two of his predecessors, Sir Alex Ferguson and David Moyes, were in the stand to show their appreciation for Rooney’s 12 years at the club and the striker insisted that Mourinho has yet to adopt the same confrontational style as Fergie. “He’s not someone who is going to come in – at the moment he hasn’t anyway – and start throwing things,” said Rooney. “You never know when the season starts. He’s competitive and wants to win every game, whether it’s a friendly...

United States President Barack Obama on Tuesday called on Republicans to reject Donald Trump in some of his strongest comments yet about the party’s White House nominee, saying he is “woefully unprepared” and “unfit” to be president. “This isn’t a situation where you have an episodic gaffe. This is daily and weekly where they are distancing themselves from statements he’s making,” Obama said of the party’s top brass including House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator John McCain. “There has to be a point in which you say, ‘This is not somebody I can support for president of the United States, even if he purports to be a member of my party.'” Obama’s comments at a White House press conference came amid a roiling war of words between Trump and the father of a slain US soldier who rebuked him as having “sacrificed nothing. Seven charging mistakes that kill your iPhones

Old iPhones stop working sooner than the owners expected because charging habits slowly damage their batteries.   Here are seven charging habits that are killing your iPhone:  Charging to 100 per cent You don’t have to charge your battery as soon as it drops below 90 per cent. Maintaining a full charge is not the most efficient way to keep your phone battery strong.  According to https://www.thrillist.com, experts suggest leaving your phone battery at  between 30 and 80 per cent full adding that it is most comfortable and will run most efficiently at that level.   Letting the phone die Lithium ion batteries become volatile when they drop down to low power.
