Calabar Robberies: No Arrests Have Been Made But We Arrive Crime Scene On Time – Police
The Cross River State Police Command has said that no arrest has been
made after the series of robberies that Calabar the State capital has
witnessed within the week.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo while responding to enquiries from CrossRiverWatch said the command was still on the trail of the bandits who have been terrorising residents relentlessly.
CrossRiverWatch enquiries were necessitated by increasing allegations by a cross section of Cross Riverians that the police are complicit in the un-abating robbery incidents and are not leaving up to expectation.
But the State PPRO debunked the allegations saying the Police is doing their best to ensure the citizens continue to have a peaceful and crime free Calabar.
