Sergio Aguero gave Manuel Pellegrini's men a perfect start when he scored his eighth goal in six Premier League games after eight minutes, but Olivier Giroud headed Arsenal's equaliser from a corner just two minutes later.
Kevin de Bruyne put City back in front with a low drive shortly after half-time, but Alexis Sanchez pulled Arsenal level again midway through the second half as the Gunners claimed a valuable point.

Sergio Aguero put City ahead in the eighth minute but Olivier Giroud quickly levelled when he headed home from a corner.
Kevin de Bruyne made it 2-1 early in the second half with a fine individual effort, only for Alexis Sanchez to fire in an equaliser from the edge of the box.

ECOWAS defence chiefs meet, prepare for military action in Gambia

The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, Abayomi Olonisakin, on Saturday hosted colleagues from other West African countries as ECOWAS steps up preparation for a possible military action in the Gambia. The meeting, held at the Defence Headquarters in Abuja, was part of the preparation for the inauguration of an Ecowas Military Intervention Group (ECOMIG) for the small West African country should President Yahya Jammeh makes real his threat not to step down when his tenure expires on January 19.
